    We visiting over NewYear's and the parks are open very early. We are trying to decide if we would be better off driving to the parks or taking the bus on these very early days. Are there any parks where driving is a better choice?

    Hi Joan!

    This is a great question.  Generally speaking, it is much faster (and I think easier though many guests would disagree) to drive yourself to every location at Walt Disney World except for the Magic Kingdom.  That's because when you drive yourself to the Magic Kingdom, you have to park at the Transportation and Ticket Center and then take a monorail or ferryboat across the Seven Seas Lagoon; if you take Disney transportation you are dropped off right outside the theme park!

    If you are going on New Year's Eve or New Year's Day, just keep in mind that the parks might close due to reaching capacity.  In that case, the parking lots will close to arrive guests before Disney transportation does.  On those two days in particular, you should probably use Disney transportation especially if you will be visiting the Magic Kingdom as it is usually the first park to close due to capacity.
