Hi, there!
Oh my goodness, Terri - it looks like you're heading to the Walt Disney World Resort
tomorrow. And with
little ones in tow! You all must be so very excited. Let's chat about all your questions!
As a mom of three, one of my favorite things about the Walt Disney World Resort is that each park offers lots of family-friendly attractions. These attractions do
not feature a height requirement, and they're perfect for Guests of all ages! That means that there will be plenty of opportunities for you and your kiddos to experience the magic of Disney storytelling together. There are a few different ways to view the height requirements at the theme parks. To view the height requirements on the Walt Disney World Resort website, hover over the "Things to Do" tab on the homepage. Select "Attractions" from the drop-down menu. On the
Attractions page, you'll see a filter menu. Click on the "Height" drop-down menu to filter attractions by specific height requirements! You can also view attraction height requirements on the
My Disney Experience mobile app. This handy tool is magic at your fingertips! Height requirements can be viewed on the
Disney Genie Service Tip Board within the app. Just tap on the three little horizontal lines at the bottom of the app home screen and then tap on the "Tip Board" box. Select the park you'd like to visit and then all the attractions in that park will be listed along with their height requirements! Isn't that convenient?
To answer your second question, my family's favorite place to watch Magic Kingdom Park's nighttime spectacular is from the Plaza Garden, the grassy area in front of Casey's Corner. We have a tradition of grabbing hot dogs, french fries, and lemonade from Casey's Corner and picnicking on the Plaza Garden while we wait for the show to begin! It's important to note that
Disney Enchantment, Magic Kingdom Park's newest nighttime spectacular features projection effects that extend down Main Street, U.S.A. To view these added effects, you may want to consider watching Disney Enchantment while standing on Main Street, U.S.A.
Your little ones are sure to love seeing their favorite Disney Characters! Some
schedules for Character Experiences can be viewed on the Walt Disney World Resort website, but for the most detailed, up-to-date schedule and location information, be sure to grab a Times Guide when you enter the theme park.
I hope this was helpful, Terri. I'm wishing you a Disney vacation that is practically perfect in every way!
Ashley
