Welcome back to planDisney, Suzanne!
Boo to you! I’m so excited that you’ll be visiting Disney World during the
Halloween season! The decor at Magic Kingdom is completely spooktacular — you’ll definitely enjoy the feeling of the season!
Adults are welcome to wear costumes to
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party as long as they adhere to the
Park Dress Guidelines under the Dressing for Separately Ticketed Events portion of the page. Unless your costumes are more of an “outfit inspired by a character” that could pass as an everyday outfit, you will need to either pack your costume to change into later or return to your hotel to change and re-enter Magic Kingdom in costume. The Cast Member I spoke with informed me that Guests may start wearing their costumes at 4:00PM as that is the earliest the Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party Guests without tickets to Magic Kingdom for earlier in the day can enter. There are also lockers available for rent at the front of Magic Kingdom that you could use to store your costume — but, honestly, I really enjoy having a few minutes to put my feet up between the normal theme park day and the party at night. Be sure to take care of your feet!
Re-entering Magic Kingdom has always been straightforward for me even if I’m arriving right when the majority of people are coming to enter for the party. Cast Members are very streamlined, and you shouldn’t have too much trouble getting back into Magic Kingdom!
I hope you enjoy trick-or-treating, meeting special characters, and watching the incredible parade and fireworks show!
If you have additional questions, we would love to hear from you again at planDisney!
Hurry back!
