Hi there! We are going to be visiting MK next month and aren't planning on going to MNSSHP. Does this mean we have to leave the park when it starts? Or is it sectioned off where people without tickets can still enjoy the park?

    Hi Erica!

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is a specially-ticketed event where Magic Kingdom is transformed into a family-friendly Halloween celebration. As the event requires special party tickets that are separate from standard theme park admission, Guests who have standard theme park admission for the day are granted entry into the theme park until the party starts at 7:00 p.m.. At that time, Guests without a wristband indicating they have tickets for that evening's party will guided by Cast Members to the exit of the theme park. Guests without wristbands will not be able to participate in attractions or events in the theme park once the party starts.

For my family's vacation next month, on evenings of our trip where Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party will be occurring at Magic Kingdom and we are not attending, we will us that evening to enjoy some of the amazing dining experiences and shopping available at Disney Springs. You can also choose to add the Park Hopper Option to your theme park tickets to allow you to enjoy a different Walt Disney World Resort theme park once your day at Magic Kingdom has ended.

    T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
