Hi, Melody! What a wonderful grandmom to want to share the magic with your little princess. I hope it's a truly special day.
My favorite way to make the most of a day in the
Magic Kingdom theme park is to start early. I like to go as soon as the theme park opens, and go straight to one of your must-do attractions. If you are not going on a day that has
extra magic hours, you can probably do at least three attractions with reasonable wait times.
We make our
FastPass+ selections for after lunch. With three attractions down in the morning, we try to catch a show or something, like
Captain Jack Sparrow's Pirate Tutorial, where your granddaughter can learn the ways of the pirating world and be sworn in as a junior pirate. Or catch a show at Cinderella Castle.
As far as lunch goes, I find it's like hitting two birds with one stone to do a character meal, and my kids always loved
The Crystal Palace. You'll save time in the park by not having to wait in line to meet some of the popular characters (Pooh and friends appear here now) - they'll come right to your table for pictures or autographs. If you want something that isn't a table service meal, try to get into
Be Our Guest Restaurant. It's quick service for breakfast and lunch, but the atmosphere is amazing.
Have a great visit!
Anna
