    We will be visiting MK on Mother's Day. The park is scheduled to open at 9:00 that day. We are staying off site with family so I need advice on what time to plan to be in the parking lots. We don't want to miss a thing so where should be be when? Thanks!

    Mother's Day at Magic Kingdom sounds like a wonderful way to spend a very special day! I've stayed off site many times and driving into the park is such a great experience! I would try to get to the Magic Kingdom parking area at least an hour before park opening. This should give you plenty of time to get to the gate in time for the Rope Drop ceremony! The Disney Monorail system begins running one hour prior to park opening so you won't be missing much getting their at that time. Thanks so much for asking the Moms Panel!
