    Visiting MK 9. Feb 2013. Breakfast at chef mickeys at 7.30. Park Opens 9 am. Do we have time to make it for 'Rope drop'? After RD whats the best way to reach dumbo with a 4 and a 6 yr old? Walk or train to fantasyland? Thanks for all your great answers.

    Hi Sofia!!!

    I believe that you can make it to the Magic Kingdom around 8:30-8:45 or so after your Advance Dining Reservation at Chef Mickey's, depending on if you were sat on time at 7:30.  This should put you at the Magic Kingdom in time for the Rope Drop.  

    Once inside the theme park, I would recommend walking back to the New Fantasyland for Dumbo.  Not only would you have to possibly wait for the train at the Main Street, USA Station, but you would also have to stop at the Frontierland Station before making your way to the New Fantasyland Station.  I just believe it would be quicker for you to walk.  I would suggest passing the Tomorrowland Bridge and turn right at the next bridge which would bring you to the Mad Tea Party attraction.  Once there, turn left and you will be on your way to Dumbo and the New Fantasyland!!
