We will be visiting MK, Epcot and Hollywood Studios during our stay in April and I know there is a little mermaid attraction at MK and HS. Are both of these rides? I seem to recall reading that one is not a ride but now can't find article. Did I dream it?

Hello, Laura! Let's take a dive "Under the Sea" and find out all about where you can find Princess Ariel at Walt Disney World!

There are indeed two different Little Mermaid-themed attractions at Magic Kingdom Park and Disney's Hollywood Studios. At Magic Kingdom, you can board a clamshell and visit Under the Sea: Journey of the Little Mermaid, a ride through Ariel's world with all her undersea friends. You'll see scenes from this classic Disney movie, including an up-close-and-personal look at Ursula as she unleashes her evil plot to steal Ariel's beautiful voice.

Disney's Hollywood Studios is home to Voyage of the Little Mermaid, an incredible stage show that also tells Ariel's story using live actors, animated scenery, animatronics and visual effects.

If you can't get enough of Ariel's world, you can also meet the mermaid princess in her grotto, right next to the Under the Sea: Journey of the Little Mermaid attraction. She's also got her own float in the daily Festival of Fantasy Parade at Magic Kingdom. And of course, there's the Little Mermaid section of Disney's Art of Animation Resort if you want to make her part of your resort stay as well.

I hope you enjoy seeing everyone's favorite siren of the sea, Laura. Have a magical day!

Meet the Panelist: Kathy, Florida

I've lived my whole life just an hour's drive from Walt Disney World, so I've been a regular visitor for as long as I can remember. Even after all these years and so many visits, I love that there's still so much to discover! Now that I'm a mom myself, seeing my favorite place through my son's eyes has given me a whole new perspective that I enjoy sharing with other parents of young children. Learn More About Kathy
