We are visiting MK on a day that it has EMH. Since we are not staying on-site this time will we miss the Opening show? Thanks for all of your help! This should be my last question prior to the trip!!!! :)

    Hi Ali!

I love the opening ceremony at the Magic Kingdom!  When the Magic Kingdom has Morning Extra Magic Hours on the particular day, the opening ceremony is right before the Magic Kingdom opens for the Morning Extra Magic Hours so you would miss it if you come for the the regular park hours for those Guests not staying at a Walt Disney World Resort.  You could actual come to the Magic Kingdom 15 minutes before the Morning Extra Magic Hours is scheduled to begin on that particular day and still see the Magic Kingdom opening ceremony if you desire by going through baggage check and watching it from in front of the Walt Disney World Railroad Station before you get to the MagicBand and ticket Touch Point readers (there is a space to stand and watch).  Keep in mind that if you choose to come early and watch the opening ceremony, then you will have to wait an hour to enter the Magic Kingdom with the regular day Guests who are not staying at a Walt Disney World Resort.

I hope that your upcoming Walt Disney World vacation is truly magical in every way!

    Keep Dreaming Big!
