Visiting MK, AK, and DS next week all day 2/8-2/10 plus half a day 2/11 with DH, DD 5, and DS 8. Would like to do at least two planned meals but not a breakfast. Any suggestions on must hit restaurants or dinner attractions? Was thinking maybe Aloha show?

    Hi Janine!

Thank you for sending in your question to the Walt Disney World Moms Panel.  There are a lot of great Table Service restaurants across Walt Disney World.  I'll list some definite family oriented must do's that you might be able to get a reserve ration for (the most popular restaurants are probably long booked up):
    • Sci Fi Dine In Theater in Disney's Hollywood Studios
    • Whispering Canyon Cafe in the Wilderness Lodge
    • 1900 Park Fare in the Grand Floridian (Disney Character Dining)
    • Cape May Cafe in the Beach Club
    • Garden Grill in the Land Pavilion in Epcot
    • 50's Prime Time in Disney's Hollywood Studios

With regards to a dinner show, I highly recommend the Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Review at Pioneer Hall in Fort Wilderness.  It is a lot of fun for the whole family.  My children, ages 12 and 7, have loved it for years.  I personally think it is a much better show than the Spirit of Aloha show at the Polynesian.

Whatever you decide to do, be sure to make some Advanced Dining Reservation (ADRs).  ADRs can be made online or by calling (407) WDW-DINE.  You will want to make them as soon as possible. Good luck with your decision, and write back if you have any more questions!
