We're visiting MK in afternoon and having dinner at Chef Mickey's. Plan on taking monorail there after the park. Can we leave our car at Contemporary Resort somewhere to easily head back to All Star Movie resort after our dinner?

Hey there, Lindsey! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Thank you for stopping by to bring us your question.

Hooray for a magical day at the most magical place on earth followed by a fun and delicious dinner with the Fab Five! That sounds like the most pixie-dusted evening ever!

Lindsey, your Chef Mickey’s dining reservation grants you a 3-hour parking allowance at Disney’s Contemporary Resort so you can enjoy your meal and enough time to check out the resort hotel while you’re there. If you plan to head to Magic Kingdom, you would probably have to park at the Ticket and Transportation Center (also the Magic Kingdom Parking Lot) then take the monorail or ferry to Magic Kingdom. You can always let the cast member at the gate of the Contemporary know your plans and they might allow you entrance early to park there. But I can’t guarantee they will, so be sure to get there a tad early in case you get rerouted to park at the TTC.

Thanks again for stopping by to bring us your question! If you have any additional questions or need planning tips or advice, be sure to bring those our way. It’s our pleasure to assist you in planning an unforgettable and pixie-dusted visit to the Walt Disney World Resort.

    See ya real soon,
