visiting in may 2011 with 3 and 7 year old boys. We are staying at the villas at the wilderness lodge and plan to eat in for most meals, but would love reccomendations for a character breakfast and dinner and any other dining options you could suggest.

For families with young boys, I highly recommend Whispering Canyon Cafe at the Wilderness Lodge. This is a rowdy, western-themed restaurant for the young and young-at-heart. The food is good too. Arrive early so the boys can play at the Lincoln Log table. We've enjoyed all the meals here. It is one of my favorite breakfasts at WDW.

Sport fans enjoy the ESPN Club at the Boardwalk Resort.

Chef Mickey's has always been a fun restaurant for our now 11 year old son. His first visit there was at age 2 and he asks to go there on every visit to WDW. We just had a delicious breakfast at this restaurant last week. A bonus is that the monorail runs right through the Contemporary Hotel and adds to the excitement of the meal. Plan for a monorail ride before or after your reservation.

The Lilo and Stitch character breakfast at the Polynesian Resort offers a family-style meal with a fun atmosphere.

At Downtown Disney, I'd recommend the T-Rex or Rainforest Cafe. We ate at the T-Rex Cafe last week and my son enjoyed the dinosaurs.

    Other ideas include:

Animal Kingdom's Tusker House character breakfast with Donald Duck
'50s Prime Time Cafe or Sci-Fi Dine-In at Hollywood Studios
    Epcot's San Angel Inn
Magic Kingdom's Crystal Palace with Winnie the Pooh

Don't forget to make your Advance Dining reservations!
