We will be visiting in May and have reservations at Chef Mickey's at 9:25am. Will there be enough time to visit the Animal Kingdom after? Our daughter is 2 so we're not really interested in riding the big rides but we do want to see the Lion King and Nemo.

    Hi Sarah,

The Animal Kingdom is a great park to choose when you have less than a full day to tour. With skipping the thrill rides such as Expedition Everest, you'll have time to hit the highlights with your daughter. Once you arrive, you'll want to look at the current show schedule and work around seeing Festival of the Lion King (25 minutes) as well as Finding Nemo: The Musical (40 minute show). To plan ahead, see www.wdwent.com which lists weekly entertainment offerings at Walt Disney World.

Hit the character greeting trails in Camp Minnie-Mickey before you see Festival of the Lion King. Afterwards, the audience tends to pour into the queues to see the characters.

Allow some time for the Kilimanjaro Safaris, Boneyard playground, and a ride on Triceratop Spin.

Breakfast with Mickey at the Contemporary Resort's Chef Mickey Restaurant is a great way to start your day!
