We will be visiting May 22- 29. Is it possible that Toy Store will have a soft opening during our visit?

    Hi Jason!

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel. It sounds like you are just as excited as I am about the opening of Toy Story Land! I have such fond memories of watching all of the Toy Story movies and of my little ones dressing up as Buzz and Woody for Halloween. So I just can't wait to shrink to the size of a toy and enter Andy's backyard to play with my favorite toys!

With Toy Story Land set to open June 30, there has been quite a bit of exciting progress being made in this new area of Disney's Hollywood Studios in recent weeks. Now that Woody is ready to greet Guests at the Toy Story Land entrance, we certainly aren't far away from Guest's being able to enjoy it. Often when new attractions and lands have opened at Walt Disney World Resort, "soft openings" have allowed Guests to enjoy the land before its official opening. Generally however, "soft openings" and previews are magical moments that simply surprise and delight Guests who are lucky enough to be in the area during the preview time.

Currently no "soft openings" or preview times have been announced for Toy Story Land. I recommend that you keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog over the next few weeks as your trip approaches so you can catch announcements about Toy Story Land, as well as announcements about other things you will be able to enjoy during your vacation.

Keeping my fingers crossed for pixie dust during your trip! T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
