I will be visiting in May for my daughter's birthday and would like to give her the best day. Can you please assist me with doing this. We will be there May 11th-14th and her birthday is the 12th.

    Hi Marquetta,

Let me share some of my family's favorite ways to celebrate a birthday at Walt Disney World. First, definitely get your birthday girl a complimentary "Happy Birthday" button. These are available at Guest Relations at all four theme parks as well as other locations throughout Walt Disney World. Sometimes, a little extra pixie dust is spread for a guest wearing a Happy Birthday button. My daughter once received a huge cupcake at The Plaza Restaurant at Magic Kingdom after our server noticed that she was wearing one of these buttons! This kind of special treatment is not guaranteed, so treat it as a fun surprise if it does.

To add to the magic even more, you can consider having a gift created and delivered from Disney Floral and Gifts. They have a wide array of gift options, from balloons to sweet treats to plush animals and so much more. Once you have perused their website, you can call them at 407-939-4438 to work with a Magic Maker to customize your gift.  For a special sweet treat, consider having a cake for your celebration! There are many options for these at Walt Disney World as you can see on the website.

Finally, consider a special happening for the birthday. Depending on your daughter, perhaps she would love to receive the royal treatment at Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, celebrate with song at Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue, or head out on a Specialty Cruise.

Please let us know if you have any further questions, Marquetta!
