We will be visiting in May 2008 and would like to attend a character meal. We will have a 2 year old male along with us (3 total) . What would be a good character dining meal to attend that has plenty of characters and is in one of the theme parks?

Thinking that many 2 year olds like Pooh and friends, I'd suggest the Crystal Palace in the Magic Kingdom.  It is a beautiful restaurant with buffet meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.  The best part is that Pooh, Tigger, Eeyore and Piglet come and visit the guests.  I love that the characters come to guests rather than waiting in line to see them; it is such a time saver!
And I'll share a hint:  when we have made breakfast reservations there, we always try to have one of the first reservations before the park opened so we could get some fantastic pictures of ourselves on Main Street.  We look like we are all alone in WDW (make sure it is not an Extra Magic Hour morning if you do this!).  When we finished eating, we were already within the park as it opened for other guests, so we had a slight advantage of getting to a few rides first, too.
