Hi Taysia!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and thank you for your question. I am a huge fan of the mid-day break on a trip to Walt Disney World, especially when traveling with smaller children and the grandparents. Whether it’s a nap, time by the pool, or over to Disney Springs for a cupcake and some playtime, a break is just such a good idea.
Now, onto your question about
Disney After Hours. I absolutely love the idea of this event, especially for a group with little ones who might not have the patience for long lines. And Magic Kingdom Park is so magical in the evening! Taysia, unfortunately, I’m not aware of a military discount for Disney After Hours. Most of the ticketed nighttime events, such as Mickey’s Not So Scary Hallowe’en Party, have offered military discounts in the past, so it’s worth checking when you arrive. Military tickets for nighttime ticketed events have typically only been available at the parks or
Shades of Green, not in advance on base or via Disney. For this reason, I would approach a Cast Member at the ticket window at the park entrance with your question. Another option is to contact Shades of Green’s ticket window, as they may have more information. I haven’t seen this promoted anywhere, so I’m thinking there isn’t a discount for the event at this time, but it never hurts to ask, and the answer could change between now and your vacation, too.
I’m keeping my fingers crossed for you that you’ll get a pixie-dusted answer!
Wishing you a magical vacation,
Robyn
