We will be visiting in March 2013 for our 1st WDW trip.We will have 3 kids-9, 6 and 2 1/2 so we anticipate hotel breaks.Which resort would be the best option for easily going back during the day,on a budget? Looking at the moderate/value options?

    Hi Jamie!

Congratulations on your plans for a visit to Walt Disney World in March!

My favourite, centrally located resort at a Moderate price would be Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside. Here, for a very reasonable price you can opt for a cottage-themed Alligator Bayou room complete with single, child-sized, pull-down wall bed plus 2 queens, sleeping the 5 of you comfortably and economically.

With it's centralized location on the Walt Disney World property, you'll find that transportation is quite easy, with no particularly long bus rides to any one particular park. Add to this the convenience and fun of a boat to Downtown Disney, a water slide and cane pole fishing on site at Ol' Man Island, surrey bike rentals, a wooded playground and horse-drawn carriage rides ... it really doesn't get much better than this!

In my opinion, Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside is the perfect blend of location, amenities and budget all rolled into one neat package!

Thanks for visiting the Moms Panel with your great question Jamie. I hope you'll write me again soon as I'd love to help you in your decision making and planning!

Wishing you a simply Magical time planning your family's Walt Disney World vacation!
