Allison:
Hands down, the Boathouse.
Although I've only eaten at
Fulton's once and twice at
The Boathouse, the food and the service at the Boathouse was superior to that of Fulton's. Even though the setting was quaint at Fulton's, my husband and I ordered the Seafood Tower for Two and were disappointed in the quality of the crab legs. The service was sufficient but not what you expect from a Disney restaurant. We may have simply caught them on an "off" night but if I had the choice, I'd pick the Boathouse between the two.
The Boathouse offered water-side dining on my two visits and an attentive staff. Everything I ate, I would order again, but my favorites were the baja cocktail shrimp, clams and the roasted corn. While they are proud of their steaks--and the menu is more expensive than Fulton's--you get what you pay for. I would recommend looking at both restaurants' menus before you go to compare. (Just keep in mind that the one offered online at www.disneyworld.com for the Boathouse doesn't include what I like to call their "bar" menu which has the fried clams, a lobster roll and other sandwiches which may make dining there more affordable for your family. There's a more inclusive menu for the restaurant at allears.net.)
Wishing y'all a delicious dinner and a magical vacation!
