    We will be visiting in March 2015 and have already purchased hotel, tickets, and memory maker. We now have another person wanting to join us. If we purchase another ticket with My Disney Experience, will they get a customizable MagicBand shipped with ours?

    Hi Marci,

    How exciting ~ your trip is just around the corner!  It sounds like you have made some great preparations for your big vacation.

    Since your party will be staying at a Disney Resort hotel, each Guest will receive a MagicBand regardless if they have theme park tickets linked in My Disney Experience.  MagicBands are used to unlock your Disney Resort hotel room as well as allow access to certain areas reserved for Resort hotel Guests such as pools, viewing areas, etc....  However your additional Guest needs to first be listed on your reservation to receive a MagicBand.  To add another Guest to your existing reservation you should call the phone number listed in this link for Disney Resort hotel reservations.  Have your vacation reservation confirmation number handy when you call and a Cast Member will be able to help you.  After your additional Guest has been added, you will be able to customize their MagicBand in My Disney Experience along with the rest of your travel party.  In My Disney Experience, there will be a date listed by which time you should customize your MagicBand.  If you miss this date, you will still receive MagicBands however they will all be iconic gray.
