Hello Anna!
Welcome to planDisney!
Happily Ever After is an emotional powerhouse of a nighttime spectacular and I can see why you would want to experience it! I sometimes listen to the soundtrack at home and pretend I am in the Park!
I checked out the
Hours & Events Calendar for Magic Kingdom Park and saw that on December 19, the Park is actually closing at 6 pm as it will be hosting
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party which starts at 7 pm. This is why there is no Happily Ever After scheduled this evening as party guests will be enjoying
Minnie's Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks at Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party! If you do not have tickets to this special event then you will have to leave the Park at 6 pm and miss out on a close-up of this evening's nighttime entertainment. I'm sorry that you will be missing out but I suggest if you wish to see this show without getting a party ticket then book a meal at
California Grill at Disney's Contemporary Resort. The meal is delicious and there is a balcony for diners to view Magic Kingdom Park's evening fireworks show. You don't have to time out your meal for the show because as long as you have eaten there that day you can return and get access to this special viewing area. Just save your receipt when you return so that Cast Members can let you on the special elevator.
If your heart is set on viewing Happily Ever After, then consider visiting Magic Kingdom Park on December 16 or 18 to view it. It seems the next time it will run is January 1, 2025 onwards. I am sorry if won't work out timing-wise but maybe it's a good reason to plan another trip!
"It's just beginning, feel your heart beat faster, reach out, and find your happily ever after!"
Happy Planning!
