We will be visiting Magic Kingdom and wanted to take my daughter for Bibbidi Bobbed Boutique. She won't be 3 for another month after our trip. Will she still be able to participate?

    Hi Maggy,

How exciting to be visiting Walt Disney World in just a few weeks with your daughter!  You are sure to make some Magical memories while you are there.

Currently, a royal makeover at Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique is only available for Guests from 3 to 12 years of age.  Unfortunately, since your daughter will be 2 years old at the time of your visit, she is not quite old enough to participate at this time.  However, since she isn't 3 years old yet, she is still considered a Guest of Mickey and does not need a theme park ticket either, so in my opinion this is still a lovely age to visit.  I know this isn't what you were hoping to hear, but I do have a suggestion for you to accomplish a royal makeover for your little princess.

If you do an online search for magical makeovers in the Orlando area, there are many in the area that come highly recommended, and many will come to your hotel to do a makeover.  If you go this route, you can pre-purchase your daughter's dress and she will be all ready for her princess debut the day you visit Magic Kingdom.  My daughters had a treasure trove of princess dresses when they were younger from many different shops.  One of our favorite styles of princess dresses were from little dress up shops that offered "stretchy bodice" dresses that could be pulled on/off without any other closures.  While visiting the theme parks, I would often dress them up with shorts and a tank top underneath their princess dresses so that they could put them on and take them off as often as they wanted throughout the day.

When you visit Magic Kingdom, did you know that you can take your daughter to Sir Mickey's to be Pixie Dusted?  The Magic is complimentary, too!  While you are there you may even find a royal accessory or two.  I also want to recommend taking your little princess to meet Cinderella and a visiting princess or meet Tiana and a visiting princess at Princess Fairytale Hall.  I find that when my princesses were little and had on their royal finery, calling on another royal really made them feel special.

I hope this information helps you with your plans and if you have any further questions, please come back and see us here at planDisney.  We are always eager to help you plan your next Magical adventure!
