Hiya Wenchao,
Welcome to planDisney! Also, let’s take a quick moment to celebrate that your Walt Disney World Resort vacation is less than a month away! You are going to have the most magical trip with your little Mouseketeers. Myself and my fellow panelist have so many tips and tricks to share that can make a fantastic trip even more incredible! If there is anything I can do to help you make your trip even more magical, please reach out.
I always tell people that a Walt Disney World Resort vacation is a marathon, not a sprint, both metaphorically and physically. In fact, you start earning those steps as soon as you
park at the Transportation Ticket Center. That walking time usually is when my family and I strategize what we want to do as quickly as we get on Main Street, U.S.A. With that being said, I completely understand wanting to save your little ones from having to walk from your parking spot to the parking trams. Unfortunately, Cast Members cannot let you drop off your family at a specified drop-off location before parking. However, before you turn to park in the lane, I recommend speaking to the Cast Member if you need assistance. They cannot change your parking spot, but they may be able to (depending on how busy the parking lot is) permit you to let your little ones out next to the parking tram loading area closest to your parking lane. This is definitely not a guarantee. It depends entirely on what Cast Members can accommodate, given the number of other vehicles and the safety of your little ones and others. My motto is always, it doesn’t hurt to ask. The worst they can say is no. Another option that I know many families use is rideshare services. Rideshares have a designated drop-off area, which can save you a few steps. You also can request car seats for your little ones in select vehicles.
I’m sorry I can’t be more helpful before letting you go, though; just a friendly check-in about
Disney Park Pass Reservations. You will need both a valid Theme Park ticket and a Disney Park Pass Reservation for Magic Kingdom Park to gain entry to Magic Kingdom. If you have not reserved your Disney Park Pass Reservations, please do so ASAP. If you already have your Disney Park Pass Reservations booked, then fantastic! Take these last few weeks to get your dining reservations confirmed, plan out breaks for your little ones, and look into
Disney Genie+ services.
Happy Planning,
Ashley F.
