    I will be visiting Magic Kingdom for one day when I come to Orlando in June. I will be traveling with a 5, 8, & 15 yr old. I want to bring a light weight bag to carry things we may need. What kind of bag should I use & what is most important to hav

    Hi Patricia,

    I am a backpack kind of gal & that's what I usually bring - that way I'm hands free when walking around. Your kids are old enough that you shouldn't have to bring a lot. I'd make sure I bring a change of clothes for everyone (including yourself) to leave in the car - just in case. Its a bit of a journey from the parking lot to the gates of MK so you may even consider bringing a change of clothes to the parks & putting them in a locker. Here are my must have items:

    * Tickets, money, credit cards & ID
    * Confirmation numbers of any reservations
    * Cell phone
    * Sunscreen (don't forget sunscreen for your lips as well)
    * Hats & sunglasses
    * Hand sanitizer & sanitizing wipes
    * Cheap disposable rain ponchos for everyone
    * Camera & extra batteries - if you are going to ride Splash Mountain, bring a plastic bag to store your camera and cell phone in when you ride so they don't get wet
    * Fan / water mister because it can get very hot
    * A Sharpie or large pen for autographs
    * Snacks
    * Small Ziploc baggies for left over carrots, apples or grapes from my kids' lunches
    * You may consider bringing a small hand held game for your kids while waiting in line.
    * Band-Aids and Neosporin - there is a First Aid station but I always bring a couple of first aid items with me
    * Aspirin or something in case of headaches
    * Water bottle to refill - this may be too heavy if you carry one for each of you

    Most of all - bring your inner child and leave your worries behind.  Wishing you many magical memories!
