Hi there Alicia! You’ve selected a great time to visit!
The World’s Most Magical Celebration is now in full swing and, by the time you arrive, you’ll be seeing the Christmas decorations throughout the resort hotels and the theme parks!
I always advise that Guests purchase their theme park tickets directly from the Walt Disney World Resort website. Dealing with third parties, especially if your plans have to change, can become very complicated.
While an official start date for
Disney Genie service has not been announced, I am optimistic that this brand new feature will be available by the time you arrive at the end of November! Once it is available, Disney Genie will be as convenient as tapping it on your My Disney Experience app! And, the Disney Genie+ upgrade will be available for Guests to skip the lines, one attraction at a time. After Disney Genie+ officially launches, Guests will be able to purchase the feature prior to their visit as a ticket add-on or purchase on the day of their park visit!
Alicia, you are correct that Guests must have a valid theme park ticket and a
Disney Park Pass reservation to enter the theme parks. First, check the
Park Availability Calendar to make sure reservations are available for your dates of travel. When you see that your parks are available, go ahead and make your ticket purchase! Once you have purchased your tickets, you can make your Disney Park Pass reservations through your My Disney Experience account. You’ll need to log in to your My Disney Experience account and make sure that your tickets are linked to your account. You’ll then go about selecting your theme park, the day of your visit, as well as the members of your travel party who will visit with you!
Alicia, you’re asking ALL of the right questions! I hope you’ll come back to planDisney with more!
