We are visiting Magic Kingdom (but not staying at a resort). We booked breakfast at the Polynesian Resort. 1st Can we do that? 2nd Can we park there and take the monorail to M.K to spend the day or do we have to park at Magical Kingdom? Thanks!

    Hi Jenny!
Wow, breakfast at the Polynesian Resort is an incredible experience!  It truly makes you feel like you are in a Tropical Paradise.  Anyone can eat meals at a Walt Disney World Resort without staying there. My son and I do this on every trip to Walt Disney World and some of the best Walt Disney World restaurants are housed in the Resorts themselves!

You are allowed to park your car at a Resort if you have an Advanced Dining Reservation, but only while you are are eating there (approximately 2 to 3 hours).  If you choose to park your car at the Polynesian, then you would have to move it to the Ticket and Transportation Center after your breakfast and take the Monorail or Ferry Boat to the Magic Kingdom.

Another option for you would be to park your car at the Ticket and Transportation Center (the TTC) before your breakfast,  Then you can take the Resort Monorail Loop to the Polynesian (it is only one stop from the TTC) or you can even walk (about a 5-10 minute walk).  After breakfast you can hop back on the Monorail to the Magic Kingdom (it is only 2 stops away).  After your day at the Magic Kingdom is complete, you can board the Monorail or take a Ferry Boat back to your car which is at the Ticket and Transportation Center.

I hope that you have a magical Tropical Island breakfast at the Polynesian Resort!

    Keep Dreaming Big!
