Greetings Ise-Lu!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I'm so excited to hEAR you will be visiting the Walt Disney World Resort in May! Your vacation will be here before you know it.
You are going to love all of the attractions and entertainment options at
Magic Kingdom Park.
Happily Ever After is at the very top of my family's "must do" list when visiting the iconic park. As you mentioned, Magic Kingdom Park is currently scheduled to close at 9:00 p.m. on your specific dates of travel with Happily Ever After scheduled for 9:00 p.m. as well. I'm happy to report that you will definitely be allowed to watch Happily Ever After inside the theme park. I've previously visited two of the Disney theme parks when the nighttime spectaculars were scheduled at the same time as park closing. We watched both shows before leaving the park. Of note,
Park Hours are subject to change at any time so be sure to check them again a little closer to your arrival date.
Be sure to download
My Disney Experience mobile app in order to manage your vacation plans, view attraction wait times, check times for parades and fireworks, and book FastPass+ selections and dining reservations while on the go.
I hope this information has been helpful to you, Ise-Lu. Let us know if you have any new questions that may arise in the days leading up to your trip. We would love to assist you further in planning a magical vacation!
