Hi Alexandria, and welcome to planDisney! We’re so glad you’re here. Your trip to the Most Magical Place on Earth is just around the river bend, so let’s dive right in with your question!
Parades are some of the most magical moments of any day spent at a Disney theme park! The floats are so fun and whimsical, and you will be singing the music for the rest of the day! I just took a peek at
the schedule for March 4 and 6, and I'm happy to share with you that the
Festival of Fantasy Parade is scheduled for 3 p.m. on both days. This is the primary daytime parade, and it is truly magical! It includes many large, colorful floats with favorite Disney friends like Mickey and Minnie and princesses including Anna, Elsa, Cinderella, Ariel, Tiana, Belle, and many others. It’s a wonderful place to see lots of characters all in one place! The parade is full of surprises, and be sure to keep your eyes open for Maleficent as she makes a dramatic entrance!
Here are some bonus tips: Plan to grab your spot early for the parade. Guests will start lining the streets well in advance to get a prime view, so plan to arrive around 30-45 minutes early to find a spot if you want to be right up close. My two favorite places to watch Festival of Fantasy are in the Hub in front of Cinderella Castle right near that iconic Partners statue with Walt Disney and Mickey Mouse or over in Frontierland. The Hub gives you not only all of the amazing energy of Main Street, U.S.A., but it’s also a perfect place to capture the most beautiful parade photos with the castle as your backdrop! Frontierland offers a less crowded area to view the parade, so this can be a better location if you don’t want to arrive too early.
Alexandria, I hope you are getting excited for your trip
next week! If you have any more questions in the meantime, just
send them my way. I hope you have a magical vacation, and see you in the parks!
With faith, trust, & pixie dust,
Casey
