I will be visiting Magic Kingdom in June. On the day that we’re there, Happily Ever After is scheduled for 9:15 and park close is at 10. Will rides be open after HEA ends? Trying to squeeze in as much fun as possible!

    Hi Rhiannon,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us a question.

I totally understand the wish, or rather, the NEED to squeeze in as much fun as possible into your Disney day! I’m happy to tell you that, yes, most Magic Kingdom Park attractions do stay open until park close, so they will be available for you to experience after Happily Ever After. Plus, you can usually get into the Standby queue up to 5 minutes before the park closes, which is a great way to experience an attraction when wait times are winding down.

There may, however, be some exceptions to this rule, (Walt Disney's Enchanted Tiki Room comes to mind as an attraction that usually closes early) so be sure to check that day’s Times Guide to make sure that the ones you want to experience don’t have special hours that day. And don’t forget that the stores along Main Street U.S.A. are typically open until one hour after park close as well.

Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions!

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
