Hi, there!
Oh my goodness, Katelyn - I'm so excited for you. There is little better than experiencing the magic of the
Walt Disney World Resort with a toddler in tow! Your heart is sure to melt as your family shares pixie-dusted adventures in Magic Kingdom Park.
My little princess made her first visit to
Magic Kingdom Park when she was just a bit under a year old, and it made for lots of priceless memories (even though
she doesn't remember them!). This theme park in particular offers lots of
family-friendly attractions, which are just perfect for little ones. As toddlers, my kids all most enjoyed attractions with gentle, easy tracks like Peter Pan's Flight, The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, and Under the Sea ~ Journey of The Little Mermaid. They also loved boat-ride attractions like "it's a small world" and Jungle Cruise! We always took our little ones on "dark" attractions like Pirates of the Caribbean and Haunted Mansion too. We found they were much too young to have a frame of reference that would make them frightened as they were sitting on our laps!
Keep an eye out for the impromptu
Character Cavalcades that will pop up along Magic Kingdom Park's parade route. Your little princess will squeal with delight when she sees beloved Disney Characters passing by!
You have lots of
dining options at Magic Kingdom Park. For Quick-Service dining, I recommend
Pinocchio Village Haus. This casual restaurant offers toddler-friendly menu items like flatbread pizzas, french fries, and applesauce. Grab a table by the windows so your little darling can wave to Guests passing by on "it's a small world" down below! For a Table-Service experience YOU won't forget, I suggest
Be Our Guest Restaurant. Dining in Beast's enchanted castle is always magical!
Be sure to stop by the
Baby Care Center throughout the day. It's the perfect place for a quiet feeding or diaper change!
Thanks for stopping by planDisney, Katelyn. Please visit us again soon with any new questions you may have about your visit to Magic Kingdom Park!
