Greetings Yesenia!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! How exciting to be visiting
Walt Disney World Resort for the first time with family in just a few days!
Your little Mouseketeers are going to love being able to explore all of the attractions and entertainment options that await at
Magic Kingdom Park. If you've not done so already, be sure to take advantage of Disney FastPass+ service, which comes with your park admission. My family loves to decrease our wait for several of our "can't miss" attractions when utilizing
FastPass+ service. You can book 3 initial FastPass+ selections for one park per day and once your last arrival window has passed, you will be eligible to book an additional FastPass+ selection.
When visiting Magic Kingdom Park with young children, I recommend arriving approximately 30 - 45 minutes before park opening to give yourself ample time to go through security and the touch-point entry area. Once you enter the park, be sure to pick up a park map for easier park touring. I recommend heading straight to Fantasyland to enjoy all of the attractions in that area before heading to the next "land." My family's strategy is to tour the park by "lands" which allows us to maximize our time and decrease the amount of unnecessary walking. Don't miss Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade and Happily Ever After which are "must do" experiences for my family when visiting the iconic park.
Before your trip, be sure to download
My Disney Experience mobile app to manage your vacation plans, view attraction wait times and showtimes, and book FastPass+ attractions while on the go.
I hope this information is helpful! Stop by again with any new questions. We would love to assist you further in planning a magical trip for your family!
