Hiya Christina,
Welcome to planDisney! We are so excited that you are here and that we get to help you with questions about visiting Walt Disney World Resort.
Christina, one of my favorite parts of
parking at Walt Disney World Resort is that once you pay for parking at one of the parks, that parking pass is
valid for all the other theme parks that day. So if you are park hopping you have two options, you can either leave your vehicle at the Transportation and Ticket Center and then use one of the complimentary transportation options to hop to the other theme park (i.e. take the
monorail to EPCOT or the bus to Animal Kingdom) or you can return to the parking lot, pick up your vehicle, and move it to the parking lot at the next theme park. I have small children—a three-year-old and an infant—so, depending on whether I want to avoid the drama of car seats, that factor influences which option I choose that day. My advice is to take a peek at the weather. If it's going to be a little rainy, I will risk the tantrums and move my car so I can be closer to my vehicle when I'm done for the day.
I hope this was helpful, Christina. If you do decide to move your car, don't forget to hold on to your receipt from when you parked at
Magic Kingdom. You will need to show it to the parking attendant to park without paying an additional fee later that day. Please come back and see us if you need anything! We are always here to help!
Happy Planning,
Ashley F.
