We are visiting Magic Kingdom 10/28 and 10/30. We finalized our plans ~100 days in advance, too late to snag reservations at Be Our Guest restaurant. If we are prepared to wait, do they accept any walk-ins for dinner (I realized the wait could be long)?

    Hi Erin!

Thanks for submitting your question to the Moms Panel!  I would recommend that you keep checking the Be Our Guest Restaurant page or by calling 1-407-WDW-DINE to see if they have had any cancellations.  As far as walk ins, I would say that it depends. If you have a small party (less than 4) you may have some luck but to be honest it is usually fully booked.

If you can not secure a reservation, you can have lunch there with no reservations required or allowed! In my opinion, this quick service is option is way cooler than the dinner! First, you want to start making the line at the front entrance of the Beast's Castle early as lunch begins at 11:00 a.m. Then once inside, you will walk past the suits of armor (be sure to listen closely..they start to whisper). Next you will proceed in to the Beast's study where you will be given "rose" and you will use a touch screen kiosk to order your meal. I had the steak sandwich and tried the pork dish and they were delicious. In my opinion, its the best quick service food option in all of Magic Kingdom! After you have finalized your order, you can proceed to the dining room, which is divided into three areas. There is the grand 2-story ballroom, Belle's book-filled Library or the forbidden West Wing! Only during lunch, do you have the liberty to chose which dining room you want to experience! I LOVED the West Wing! The food is then brought to you by waiters. Also, it is nice that the lunch is served on glassware instead of paper plates... very classy! You will not be disappointed!
