Hello! We are visiting Magic Kingdom and eligible for early entry at 8:30. We'd like to be there by 8:00 or earlier. Are busses running that early and is that the best transportation option? We'll have a car and will be staying at Yacht Club.

Hey there, Melanie! Welcome to planDisney!

Your visit to Walt Disney World is fast approaching and it just so happens to be a fantastic time to visit. But is there ever a bad time for a Disney trip? I think not! Since you’ll be hanging out in Magic Kingdom Park and fawning over Cinderella Castle in her 50th Anniversary garb, be sure to catch the new Disney’s Enchantment nighttime spectacular. What better way to end your day in The Most Magical Place on Earth than with fireworks over a castle?

Melanie, the buses will start leaving 45 minutes before the Early Theme Park Entry begins. So in this case, the buses will start running at 7:45 a.m. This may not get you to the Parks before your desired arrival time of 8:00 a.m. but you should arrive by 8:15 a.m. if you are on one of the first bus departures. With that said, I recommend getting to the bus stop a few minutes - more like 15 minutes - before the buses start running to try to get a spot on a bus quickly. Magic Kingdom is an extremely popular park and March is a higher crowd month so, the buses may fill up quicker than usual. I also recommend verifying the bus start schedule upon arrival. With the springtime hours and higher crowds, Disney transportation may start earlier and run more often! The bus schedule for your Disney Resorts Collection hotel can be found in your My Disney Experience app after your arrival. And while I am a strong supporter of driving to the Parks  - mainly because it’s easier to load my four kids into the car rather than the bus - I think using Disney Bus Transportation may be best for your visit. You can sit back, relax, and let Disney do the driving!

I hope this helps, Melanie! The magic awaits!

    Until Next TIme,
