Hi, we are visiting Magic Kingdom over the Easter holiday 2015. There are 8 of us including 4 children who are In care and under 12 so we are hoping that it will be OK to take picnics into Magic Kingdom. Where is a suitable place for us to picnic. Thanks

    Hello Robert,
Sounds like you've a busy holiday planned for this coming Easter at Walt Disney World Resort; I can just imagine how excited everyone in your party must be!
Guests are welcome to bring their own snacks and picnic food items into the Magic Kingdom Park, but just to be sure it's worth checking out this Walt Disney World Resort Park Rules link before arrival.
Although there isn't a designated picnic spot in the Magic Kingdom Park, Guests can find plenty of benches dotted around or try perching on a curb to eat whilst you wait for Disney's Festival of Fantasy Parade to begin!
Another thought maybe to catch a ferry from the marina outside the entrance to the Magic Kingdom Park which goes across to Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground; Guests could enjoy a shady and peaceful picnic on the beach and children can run, play and let off a little steam!
I thought perhaps this Springtime Festival & Events at Walt Disney World Resort link would be a great planning resource for you.
If I can help sprinkle any extra pixie dust onto your rapidly approaching Easter holiday to Walt Disney World Resort please pop back to ask me another question.
    Have a great Disney day.
