Hi Sonia! Welcome to planDisney. I'm so happy you brought your question to us!
The autumn season is such a great time to visit the
Walt Disney World Resort. There are festive decorations around the resort, specialty fall treat items (pumpkin spice, anyone?), and just a general feeling of warmth in the air. I just love the lead-up to the holidays and the not-so-spooky season kicks things off in a big way!
On nights when
Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party is being offered at
Magic Kingdom Park,
Happily Ever After is not offered and Guests who have not purchased a ticket to this event will need to leave the park by 6 p.m. Party Guests will be treated to
Disney's Not-So-Spooky Spectacular instead. But don't worry, this party is not offered every night and you can simply plan to visit Magic Kingdom Park on a day when the party is not being offered and you can view the fan-favorite Happily Ever After show! Simply view the dates on the
Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party page to plan your day to
not go to Magic Kingdom Park and use the
Hours & Events Calendar to help as your trip draws nearer.
Sonia, if you are staying at a
Disney Resorts Collection Hotel in the
Magic Kingdom Park area, you can likely get a glimpse of the Halloween spectacular from a spot at your resort. For example, if you are staying at
Disney's Polynesian Village Resort, you can usually see the show from the beach. I'm usually staying at
Disney's Contemporary Resort and there is a viewing platform there! Just keep in mind that you need to be staying at these resorts to enjoy these views as you will not be able to park if you don't have an
advanced dining reservation or a hotel reservation at these hotels.
Remember that while Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party is a wonderful event, you don't
have to attend to enjoy some not-so-spooky fun. Stay tuned to
Disney Parks Blog for announcements related to snacks and other festivities that will be offered when you are there.
If you have any other questions,
please feel free to reach out again.
Boo to you,
Matt
