Hello, we are visiting Magic Kingdom on December 23rd, will be fireworks, specifically Happily Ever After?

    Hi JoJo! Welcome to planDisney.

Get ready for your festive visit to Magic Kingdom Park in a few days. Be sure to take a pun-filled Christmas cruise on the holiday overlay Jingle Cruise. Pay attention to the hilariously re-named boats like "Mistletoe Millie" and "Candy Cane Connie."

On December 23, 2023, you can experience two special edition Christmas shows normally reserved for guests of Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. At 12:00 PM and 3:00 PM, Mickey's Once Upon a Christmastime Parade will stroll the streets. The dancing reindeer and candy girls are two of my favorite sightings. That evening at 8:00 PM, Minnie's Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks will light up the sky. This show features Christmas classic songs and unique firework displays. Happily Ever After will not be shown.

Your Magic Kingdom Day is during a historically very busy day. I suggest you consider purchasing Disney Genie+ Service to help maximize your park day while minimizing your queue wait times. This service may be purchased anytime after midnight on the day of your Disney Park Pass reservation. At 7:00 am, you may make your first Lightning Lane selection.

    Keeping it Magical,
