We are visiting the magic kingdom just for a day using a day pass, not staying at a resort. Where is the best place to park?

It's great to see you here today at the Disney Parks Moms Panel, John!

A day at Magic Kingdom Park sounds practically perfect in every way and if you're driving there you'll start your day by parking your car at the Transportation and Ticket Center, which serves as the parking lot for that particular Theme Park. Once you arrive on Walt Disney World Resort property there will be plenty of road signs to guide you there! You'll be able to park your car and use the complimentary transportation, either the ferry boat or the monorail, to get to Magic Kingdom Park. Both of those forms of transportation will drop you off right in front of the gates of the Theme Park and you can just tap your ticket or MagicBand at the entrance and let the magic begin right away! When you're ready to leave at the end of the night, you just reverse the process and use the ferry or monorail to return to the Transportation and Ticket Center.

Here's a tip from the pros: take a picture of your car's parking space! You'll be parked in an area named after a Disney Character and each row of cars has a number assigned to it so snap a picture of your character and row number so you can remember exactly where you parked.

    Have a magical day, John!
