I will be visiting the Magic Kingdom for a day trip in 2 weeks. My friend uses her own electric mobility scooter and I was wondering if there is any place where she would be able to charge the unit in case the power gets low. Thank you.

    Hello, Teresa!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I know you must be getting so excited for your upcoming Walt Disney World trip to Magic Kingdom!

Now, it's time to share with you some MAGICAL news!  The answer is YES!  There are electric plugs throughout Magic Kingdom where your friend can charge her electric mobility scooter. All she has to do is ask a Cast Member where the most convenient plug is located to charge her scooter.  There are also electric plugs available at all of the Table Service restaurants in Magic Kingdom as well.

As you continue to plan for your trip, there is some great information Walt Disney World has provided concerning guests with mobility disabilities.  I know you will find this information very useful to figure out which attractions can be experienced in her electric mobility scooter and which attractions require a transfer from her scooter to a wheelchair in order to ride an attraction.

If you have more questions, please let us know!  We are here to help in any way!

    Have a MAGICAL day!
