When visiting Magic Kingdom with just adults, what is the best plan? Head to Fantasyland first and save the Fastpasses for the mountains later or go the opposite way and head straight to Thunder Mountain and use passes later in Fantasyland?

    Hi Amy,

Thank you so much for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. A day at Magic Kingdom with just adults will be so much fun! I am glad that you are considering the optimal way to use the Disney FastPass+ system for this day.

I recommend that you make your Disney FastPass+ selections early in the day if possible. This is because once you have used all three of your Disney FastPass+ selections, you will be able to make another one either at a Disney's FastPass+ kiosk in the theme park or from your mobile phone using the My Disney Experience mobile app. After you have used that fourth Disney's FastPass+ selection, you can make another and then another and then another throughout the day. This will let you take advantage of many Disney FastPass+ selections!

It sounds like you want to experience some of the roller coaster-type attractions at Magic Kingdom. In this case, I would recommend that one of your first Disney FastPass+ selections should be Seven Dwarfs Mine Train. Although this is a tamer ride, it is very popular and having a Disney FastPass+ selection for it is a good idea. Then, you could stay in Fantasyland and use your other Disney FastPass+ selections for attractions there that would build larger lines such as Peter Pan's Flight. If you have a traveling party who is ready to hustle in the morning and take a walk from Fantasyland to Frontierland, I would suggest making your next two Disney's FastPass+ selections after Seven Dwarfs Mine Train for Big Thunder Mountain Railroad and Splash Mountain. After that, you would only have Space Mountain left to complete all of the mountains in Magic Kingdom!

I would love to help you plan more Amy; however, I am limited in the space that I have to answer. Please do write back if you have any further questions!
