We'll be visiting with our 3 y.o. in late October for 5 days, staying at The Beach Club. Are there any recommendations for what parks to visit or what experiences to plan on our day of arrival (arriving late a.m.) and day of departure (departing mid p.m)?

    Greetings Afton,

Oh, how I love Fall at Walt Disney World Resort! October is a beautiful time to visit and you will love Disney's Beach Club Resort.

The location of Disney's Beach Club Resort makes planning your arrival and departure day activities easy-peasy. With the International Gateway entrance to Epcot only a short walk away, your limited amount of time won't be swallowed up with transportation. My family seriously loves this advantage of staying at any of Disney's BoardWalk Area resorts. Another activity we like to enjoy is cruising down the boardwalk on a Surrey Bike. It's a fun experience and great for stretching out your legs after a long flight or car ride. If the weather is nice, you may just want to plan on staying at the resort and enjoying the incredible Stormalong Bay. This water wonderland is perfect for some quality family time. You can play in the sand, enjoy the lazy river, or just splash around in the enormous pool. There is even a small water-slide your 3-year-old will love!

Have a wonderful vacation, Afton, and please let me know if there is anything else we may assist you with.

    Magical Wishes,

    Lauren

Hi-ya, Pals! I'm Lauren, a wife and mother of three who's enjoyed many special occasions at Walt Disney World Resort with my family and friends. From graduations to birthdays, and even our Fairy Tale Honeymoon we’ve loved celebrating at the most Magical Place on Earth. I now have pre-teens who check wait times in the My Disney Experience App just for fun, so I look for any excuse to return "home" often and would love to help you plan a little extra Pixie Dust for your next magical adventure.
