Hi there, I am visiting late April and am hoping to experience Walt’s Main Street Story Tour during my visit, however, all of April is greyed out when I try to book. Could you please tell me when these dates will become available to book? Thank you!

Hello Angeline, and welcome to planDisney! Your big trip to the Disneyland Resort is just around the corner! Can you already smell the popcorn and picture yourself walking down Main Street, U.S.A.? I'm so excited for you. One way to add more magic to any trip is with a guided tour, so I'm glad that's on your radar.

Angeline, as you mentioned, Walt's Main Street Story Tour currently shows on the Disneyland website as bookable through March 31, 2025. Typically, tours can be booked up to 60 days in advance, so April does fall into that booking window. I did some more digging and reached out to a friendly Cast Member who confirmed that there isn't information available yet as to whether or not this specific tour will have additional dates beyond March. They suggested checking back in a few weeks or keeping an eye out for tour announcements on the Disneyland Instagram account or Disney Parks Blog.

I can tell you, Angeline, that the Disneyland Railroad Guided Tour is returning later this month, and I just checked that dates are available to book in April. I did this tour last summer and really enjoyed it! Our guide expertly told us stories of Walt Disney's childhood and his growing love of trains. We learned about how trains helped shape the Disneyland Resort, all while being walked to different areas of the park. The highlight was riding the Disneyland Railroad in the special Presidential Car, the Lilly Belle. Everyone gets a treat and keepsake, also. If you haven't done this tour, I highly recommend it.

During your visit, I suggest grabbing a Dole Whip and watching the show at Walt Disney's Enchanted Tiki Room. This classic attraction debuted in 1963, and was the first to use Audio-Animatronics technology! My kids love the musical performances by all the singing birds. It's a great opportunity to rest your legs while also immersing yourself in Disney magic.

Angeline, if you have any other questions in advance of your trip, please reach out. We at planDisney are always happy to help!

Wishing you a wonderful visit to the Happiest Place on Earth,
