After visiting last September it came clear that my daughter got very bored of the kids choices on the DDP. Going again next may, and was wondering if she could ask for a child's version of the adult meals? Again we will be on the DDP. Thanks

    Hi, Farrah!

The servers are very accommodating at Walt Disney World.  While every restaurant may not offer every option (and some may not be able to help at all) but always ask for other options.  If your daughter prefers grilled chicken over chicken fingers, or side salad in lieu of fries, this might be fairly easy.  Now asking for a filet instead of a burger might get more complicated, but ask what options you might have.

You also may want to look through the menus closely before booking your dining reservations to choose locations that will suit your daughter's taste.  Try dining in Epcot where she can try international cuisine, or buffets where she can choose food from an entire buffet line.  This should help ease up on the normal kid fare on the kids' menus.

Try taking a peek at the menus at AllEars.net.  They list the kids menus for each location so you can see if there is something of interest.  If not, try a new dining location or buffet so everyone gets nice full tummies and leaves happy!  Good luck!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
