Welcome to planDisney, Kerry!
I hope life is treating you well in Scotland. I have some wonderful memories from that beautiful land. Say hello to Merida for me!
It's not long now until you'll be flying off to a whole new world. The
50th Anniversary Celebration beckons. There's so much EARidescent excitement to experience and enjoy. Make sure you check out the majestic
Beacons of Magic displays in each of the four Theme Parks. In the evening, I love finding a bench and watching Spaceship Earth light up. It's captivating!
What a wonderful idea you have to surprise your little princess with a Disney Princess dining experience. Kerry, dining reservations are open 60 days before the start of your trip. If you're staying at a Disney Resorts Collection hotel, then you get the added benefit of being able to make reservations up to 60 days in advance plus the length of your stay (up to 10 days). Therefore, from April 19 you should be able to reserve dining. Character dining is very popular at Walt Disney World Resort and tables get booked up really quickly. Reservation availability for select Walt Disney World restaurants typically begins each day at approximately 10:45 AM (BST). Therefore, I'd encourage you to get ready to book as soon as those reservations open.
I hope you manage to find availability, Kerry. I'm sure you'll have a magical time either way.
Here are some other ways to fill your niece's holiday with Disney Princess magic:
At Magic Kingdom Park, take the perfect family photo in front of
Cinderella Castle. Then stop by and say hello to
Princess Tiana and other visiting Disney Princesses at Princess Royal Hall. Once you've done that, watch the Disney Princesses promenade through the park in the wonderful
Festival of Fantasy Parade. Then take your little princess on
Under the Sea ~ Journey of The Little Mermaid.
At Disney's Hollywood Studios, your family can belt out your favorite tunes with
For the First Time in Forever: A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration. At EPCOT, you can even
meet Anna and Elsa at their Royal Sommerhus before going with them on an adventure on Frozen Ever After. As you stroll around World Showcase, keep an eye out for any other Disney Princesses. They can sometimes be found in the pavilion for the country where their tale takes place. For example, look for Belle or Aurora in France and Mulan in China.
I hope you have an enchanting trip, Kerry. Thanks for stopping by planDisney!
