Character Dining at Riveria

Hello!! We’re visiting in June, and staying at the Copper Creek Villas! Are there any character breakfast available at that time? Any fun and safe activities you can suggest? Thank you!!

Hey, howdy, hey Jennifer! Just as Woody was always thrilled to see Bullseye, I'm glad you've cantered back to planDisney with another great question.

Jennifer, Copper Creek Villas & Cabins at Disney's Wilderness Lodge is not only my family's "home" resort but also home to my husband's favorite spot to grab a drink at the end of the day: Geyser Point Bar & Grill. While you won't find any characters at this restaurant, you ARE sure to find some delicious dishes with views of Bay Lake that would even have the grumpy old Prospector smiling.

Now, Jennifer since you're hoping to wave to some famous friends while dining, I recommend checking out Chef Mickey's at Disney's Contemporary Resort or Topolino's Terrace- Flavors of the Riviera at Disney's Riviera Resort. Both of these restaurants offer a character experience at breakfast and are two of my favorites! In fact, my family will also be at Walt Disney World Resort this June and my oldest son has requested breakfast at Topolino's Terrace- Flavors of the Riviera to start off his birthday!

Jennifer, currently as you are more than 60 days from check-in, you won't yet be able to secure an advanced dining reservation, but as these are popular choices, I recommend planning ahead and booking the first day you are able. I'll also share that when dining at Disney's Contemporary Resort for breakfast, my family likes to start our day at Magic Kingdom Park immediately following as there is a convenient walkway connecting the two.

Jennifer, while not currently serving breakfast, another favorite character meal in our family is The Garden Grill Restaurant found at EPCOT. If you love the antics of the cutest chipmunks and the charm of Living with the Land, this is an excellent choice.

Finally, before your visit I encourage you to check out THIS page about experience updates. Here you can read all about the enhanced health and safety measures you'll find to make sure the Magic is safe for all to enjoy.

I hope this helps, Jennifer, as you're are getting closer and closer to your vacation. Wishing you a vacation that is every toy's (oops... I mean guest's) dream. Please come on back to planDisney with any other questions.

    So long partner,

    Lauren
