Visiting in June, is there a place to sit and watch the fireworks at MK besides the dessert party? A member of our party has a bad knee and it would be nice for him to be able to sit down. I enjoy reading the mom's panel questions and answers!

Hi, Susan! You bet there are places to sit and watch Wishes aside from the Wishes Dessert Party. The benches and curbs around the hub and Mainstreet are some of the most widely used places to sit. Since they're so visible and accessible, you need to park your bottom a good 45 minutes to an hour prior to show time.

I have a couple other go-to favorites. It helps to arrive 15-30 minutes prior to Wishes just in case it's packed.

The Rose Garden, which is in between the area where the dessert party is held and the castle, has tables and wire-backed chairs. You'll also find electrical outlets to charge any devices.

The outdoor seating on the castle side of Cosmic Ray's on the castle side is also a pretty good spot. It tends to close by 11:00 p.m. You can find the official hours on the Event Guide at the park.

The area in front of the Crystal Palace and the steps there are also good watching areas off the beaten path. It also makes your exit from the park easier than other locations - just enter Casey's at the corner and walk through the Emporium all the way to the front of the park, completely bypassing the exiting traffic on Mainstreet.
