We are visiting in June of next year with two boys ages 7 and 5. I wanted to ask for suggestions about what to carry our stuff around in. Is it best to try to leave things at the room? I am just concerned about our things getting wet or broken on rides.

Welcome to the Moms Panel, Kimberly! I would love to assist a fellow Georgian! Congratulations on your 2013 Walt Disney World Vacation! As a mom of four children which includes a set of seven year old twin boys, I would recommend bringing a backpack into the parks. Once my family graduated from bringing a stroller into the parks, my husband has always carried a backpack; whereas, I bring a small messenger bag into the park. We could easily use one bag, but we sometimes split up with the four children so it makes it nice to have my own bag. I definitely like to bring park touring essentials into the theme parks such as sunscreen, sunglasses, medications, and snacks. I have never encountered any problems with any of our enclosed belongings getting wet or being broken on the attractions. I hope this information helps!  Please don't hesitate to write me back with any additional questions that may arise throughout your planning process. Best wishes for a Magical trip, Kimberly!
    Happy Planning,
