Star Wars Galaxy's Edge Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run; Family Walking away from Storm Troopers holding hands

Christopher Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

We're visiting in June and I'd like to finish my day at Oga's Cantina before seeing the fireworks. Can someone advise what sort of time I should book Oga's to give enough time to walk over to Main Street, and also where to get a good view?

Bright suns, Christopher. We're so glad you traveled through galaxies far, far away to find our planDisney corner of the internet. Thanks for traveling in to share this question with us.

I'm so excited to hear that you will be visiting the Disneyland Resort and I'm also glad to hear that a trip to the planet Batuu is also on the itinerary. Oga's Cantina is a great place for you and your crew to refuel and rest up in between hunting for bounties and joining the Resistance. Depending on how quickly you walk, it's about a 10 to 15-minute stroll to travel "off planet" to Main Street, U.S.A. Factor in how long you plan on making trades in the cantina, and that should give you a good idea of how to time your visit.

The Entertainment Schedule hasn't been published for dates quite as far out as your visit, so I recommend keeping an eye on the calendar for updates and showtimes. You'll also want to keep in mind that fireworks and nighttime spectaculars are always subject to cancellation due to weather and unforeseen circumstances.

I have typically seen crowds start to form for fireworks viewing about an hour before showtime. Viewing the fireworks on Main Street, U.S.A., or in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle are the most popular spots. If you're looking for something a little more laid back, I recommend heading over to "it's a small world" for viewing. The projections are shown on the facade and there's a little more room to spread out.

Did you know that you can also view the fireworks from Batuu? For something different and a unique perspective, you may consider finding a spot in front of the Millennium Falcon, or (my favorite) just outside of Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo in the area that faces toward the Millennium Falcon. There won't be any projections or music (and it can get a bit loud), but the sight of fireworks behind the "fastest hunk of junk in the galaxy" is quite a sight to see.

Christopher, I hope I've given you some helpful information to build your plans. Your window to book your dining reservations for the day of your arrival will be opening soon. I hope that you get everything on your list and have the most magical visit to the Happiest Place on Earth!

    ´Til the spires,
    Michelle
