Visiting in June & we would like 2 buy anual passes for our 3 kids since we will be returning in Dec. We r dvc members & get a discount, do we need 2 buy online or can we buy at our resort w dining plan? How does this work? Dh & I getting reg

    Hi, Michelle!

We always buy our Disney Vacation Club discounted Annual Passes online,  which we access through the DVC Members' site.  It is listed under the tab "Member Privileges."Next, find "Member Perks."  This will bring you to the option of selecting "Walt Disney World Resort," which then lists "Walt Disney World Annual Pass Savings and More Disney Magic."   You can order annual passes for both the adults and kids in the member family right there.

According to the DVC site, you can also, however, "contact Member Services at (800) 800-9800 and ask them to process the purchase for you, or visit a Guest Relations location at any Walt Disney World Theme Park or the Downtown Disney® area to purchase a Pass."

Keep in mind that you'll need your Member ID number to order online or via telephone, and will need to show your Member ID card when you either purchase these passes at the resort or when exchanging a voucher (what you'd receive in the mail if ordering online or via telephone.)  All adults will need a photo ID which proves that they reside in the same house as well.

One more note, I'm not sure if you're aware of this, but you now have to add on the Disney Dining Plan no later than 48 hours before check-in, or you will not be able to purchase this plan.  This has changed since previous years, when Members were able to add on at check-in.  I didn't want you to be disappointed once you got there if you hadn't known about this policy!  A trip without the Dining Plan just wouldn't be the same.

Please send me any additional questions you may have as you plan your TWO exciting trips to Walt Disney World!  I love to help!
