Hi will be visiting in July and wanted to know what the difference is between the PhotoPass and the PhotoPass+. I have always purchased the PhotoPass ahead of time and have recieved a $50 discount, is that also available for the PhotoPass+?

    Hi Perla!

To my knowledge, the discount they normally offer for pre-ordering a Photo CD cannot be attributed to PhotoPass Plus+. Here are the primary differences between the 2 programs:

    PhotoPass:
Cost: No cost for card. Will, however, need to pay for each individual photo or package you purchase. Dining photos normally run about $32 per package; ride photos cost $20-$30 per ride depending on photo option. The Photo CD (without discount) is $169.95 at this writing.
Includes: Access to all online photos taken by Disney photographers. Can choose to share, edit, or purchase the photos you like.

    PhotoPass Plus (+)
    Cost: $199.95
Includes: PhotoPass+ Card with Lanyard, Disney Gallery CD, PhotoPass CD, Photo print package at select dining locations, Ride photos from some attractions. Not to mention complete access to online PhotoPass just like the standard program.
Where to purchase: Can purchase at any theme park, resort, or Downtown Disney (can't purchase online).

For dining photos with PhotoPass Plus, you can get the print photos as well as access the same pictures online. With attraction photos, those are only accessible online (which you can order prints for an added cost).

If you normally purchase the Photo CD and dining photo packages, then this definitely will save you some money. If you don't purchase many photos, and like to just view and share your experiences, I would just stick with the standard PhotoPass.

    Have a magical day!
